Welcoming Lauren Glant to the GJA Board of Trustees

The George Jackson Academy Board of Trustees is unique, composed of successful individuals from diverse professions who deeply believe in GJA's mission and values. We are thrilled to welcome Lauren Glant to the Board!

Ms. Glant has an impressive background, having practiced as a litigator at Pillsbury Winthrop in New York before teaching at New York University Law School, Pace University School of Law, and Brooklyn Law School. She served as a trustee of the Brooklyn Historical Society and currently holds positions on the boards of the Weeksville Heritage Center and Wyckoff House Museum. Additionally, she chairs the collections committee at the Center for Brooklyn History.

She fell in love with GJA when she led GJA’s first Mock Trial After School Program. We are excited to have her passion and expertise on the Board of GJA.
