The boys of George Jackson Academy recently attended an exciting Breakbeatcode seminar at the Google office in Manhattan, joining students from across the city. This innovative workshop taught the students how to code using software that creates beats and instrumentals, blending technology with music in an engaging way.
A highlight of the event was the appearance of renowned rapper Supernatural. He amazed everyone with his incredible freestyles, incorporating material given to him by the kids. Supernatural even freestyled over some of the students' beats, adding an electrifying and personal touch to the seminar.
Amongst the thousands of participants both in-person and online, GJA's own Nate '24 emerged victorious in the competition for the best instrumental. His creativity and coding skills impressed the judges, earning him top honors in a highly competitive field.
This seminar not only provided a fun and educational experience but also highlighted the incredible talent within the GJA community. The boys left inspired and motivated, ready to explore the limitless possibilities of both coding and music.
