Admission to George Jackson Academy is needs-blind. Tuition is determined after admission and is based on a sliding scale based on a family's ability to pay. Students should be entering 4th or 5th grade in September 2012.
To apply, download and complete the four Admission Application Forms that are in PDF format. 1A and 1B are to be filled out by the student and parent or guardian and 2A and 2B need to be fowarded to your son's current teacher and school. When the forms are complete, please mail to George Jackson Academy, 104 Saint Mark's Place, New York, NY 10009. Parents or Guardians should feel free to bring the completed application with them to the exam site or send it directly to George Jackson Academy.
The next admissions exam date will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 9:30 am at De La Salle Academy at 202 West 97th Street (corner of Amsterdam Avenue). Please arrive by 9:00 am.
